@Dipti Kachru: took me a long time to figure out what strakness meant. thank god for Firefox auto correct :D and thank you for your comment, my girlfriend was just making fun of me for not knowing English. hehe
again, thanks for the comment, i'm running out of nice photos to post... :( (this is a result of that...).
I like the contrasting, strong colours here. But maybe it would look a bit more "spooky" (more than it already does ... looks like "Beware! Do not enter!" ;) ) if it was diagonal and a bit cropped on either the right or the left hand side. *trying to imagine it*

@SPunkt: i dunno, to be honest they look a bit washed out to me.. i mean i tried to push those damned clouds and the red but i really couldn't get anything worth a damn in my view.
firstly i want to extend a huge thanks to you for taking the time to comment this with a suggestion. i'm really trying to imagine it myself but lemme just look at it for a second. ah, i see the diagonal idea, it sounds interesting, and also maybe a vertical framing wou;d've worked. hmm, thanks again for the advice. and the cropping comes naturally with the framing.

@zoloper: hehe, thank you my padawan.
yup, manual full flash, but exposure is pretty much the same as non-flash (and other settings of course) except for the ominous glowing circle. but i liked it. so i chose this one.
i wouldn't go so far as to say frightening but it aims to make a point. as in the storm coming towards this km zero of democracy. hehe, thought you'd see it :P
