was walking home from the dentist when i saw this guy sleeping on a neatly done bed out of two armchairs. makes you think about all these kids screaming about how they want freedom. sure, everyone can be free but do you want it. do you truly want to be free? i think not. we're too much dependent on the system to simply discard it. makes you think about life too. as h creatives said life is nice i say it has its downs too. the miracle of life, maybe, but I guess it's just what we make of it...
did a bit of dodging, burning, curves, you name it.. didn't get the effect i wanted but... i dunno what i could do..

Yes, I do like your street shot :) It's an interesting one. I like the angle and because it’s in B&W – adds a dreamy feeling to it. What are his dreams? Hopes?

i am glad you do. i wanted to get closer but i didn't want to wake him. so i just took two shots (instinct and this recomposed one) and got moving. well, i doubt he has dreams anymore... it's funny when you think about how much we complain about our dreams never achieving them but hey there's a kid sleeping in the street. shouldn't we consider ourselves lucky?...

@Bruce: indeed, we dominate by sheer luck. should we have not discovered fire i don't think we would've made it as far as we did so far. so yeah, we can't really achieve true freedom in our evolutionary state...
i PP'd a bit of darker tones on his face and i feel the sharpening helped. i'm glad you enjoyed it, it's not often i get such chances in the city...
