Why choose this title? Well, as I said yesterday, I've been listening to TED. And to tell you the truth, it kinda changed me... I realize now the truth about synthetic happiness, that it's just as good as what we call real happiness and that within a year a lottery winner and a paraplegic are just as happy with life. Why? Because they learn to live with it. Which is what I want to show with this image. You don't see this woman smiling, but you can see she has a ring. And she doesn't have a sad look, more of an absorbed one by the task at hand. I feel she's happy although she's more rags than riches...

Sorry for breaking the Italy trend but I wanted to post something different. This was a RAW (as can be seen from the colours) and PP was a sync: a bit of tinkering with the developing controls (WB, exposure, vibrance and sharpness) and then just a matter of dodging a bit, saturating a bit more to get a nicer colour on the hedge and voila.

Again all input is gold for me so thanks in advance to everyone who drops by and leaves a comment; you guys motivate me and keep me going. :)

And since we're on the theme of happiness I must add a little message here to the person who makes me the happiest: Baby, I love you, from the bottom of my heart and spending my time with you makes life worth living to the fullest. :) She's just everything I ever wanted in this world...
