EDIT: Apparently aminus3 has greatly exaggerated the artifacts in the photo so the sky looks like it's a 320*240 photo. Sheesh... so sorry but, ain't my fault... Please view it here to get the full effect: Imageshack link
Since everyone is making a new photography genre by adding "scape" to the end, here's mine. From a trip to the countryside last weekend. Exposed it for 60" on the door frame since the tripod isn't a friend of mine, user NR to clean it up, then in CS boosted contrast and saturation, boosted the sky and altered the colour balance and then merged the RAW and the jpg together to get the sky from one and the grass from the other (same photo, different edits). As always, opinions are more than welcome. :)
Sorry for the recent lack of activity on the p-blog but I've been away from home recently and I had a car accident on Monday so not much time to post. Hope you guys are still with me, I'll try and impress you as I learn new stuff :)
Oh man has this trip the past few days been great! I've had the time to catch up with some old friends, to spend an extraordinary time with my loved one and generally unwound and relaxed a little bit :)

@Shahab: it's natural light, then artificial lighting through the windows then the sky is lit up by lightnings. took a few tries at this but in the end it came out all right eh? :)
the image shack link was useful. and i agree that i got the full effect by looking at it. great processing

@Nick Passantino: thanks nick, and i think that link is necessary. i told jason about the crappy image compresion algorithms but hey no one likes to work for free. and even if they do, there's little time... just hope everyone sees it...

cat despre poza asta uite-te la link-ul de la imageshack s-o vezi calumea. ideea e ca ea e editata in 16bits si aminus3 a downsampled la 8 biti si ca atare a pierdut tonuri.
yes it really looks better on imageshack .. and u know i like the photo :P .. especially the sky in this one
