EDIT: done a reedit and posted that one. still sucks just not that much
Been a slow weekend photowise, lost a bunch of photos... a corrupt little SD card. No way to connect it to the computer and run recovery software on it... Oh well, I've lost 8000 photos once so 50 won't make a difference. But I had an incredible closeup of a grasshopper :((
Oh well, this is a weirdish edit i know, it's actually a pigeon in mid-flight. It's just something to close the gap, and tomorrow will be the same. But i'm going shooting tomorrow and hopefully I'll get something nice.

Don't apologise. It's actually quite interesting. (Hugs over your lost photos.)

@Lost Valley: thanks
and i can't really understand why that card is so problematic... anyway, i captured it from a park bench, the AF was a bit dodgy since it was almost twilight but otherwise it was all about timing. and timing is all about anticipation.. as for the frame it was about twice as wide and i cropped it because there was simply too much dead space.
thanks for the comment :)
The mid-flight looks dreamy... sorry u lost your photos, i wonder why the recovery software wont work, i know i've used it for mine before. Also you may already do this but i know i have prevented my SD cards from becoming corrupt by always reformatting them each time i put it back into the camera. (just make sure you have downloaded all your photos first!)

@Rabbit: yeah, that's the look i was going for but basically because it was blurry itself :D anyway, as for the recovery, the card is from my pocket pc. which connects via activesync. which doesn't make a driveletter. so i went to a laptop which had an integrated sd slot. that one gave me a drive letter but for some strange reason the recovery software didn't recognise it. that combined with the fact that scandisk rendered my photos into a million 32kb lost file chunks, i can pretty much say it's foobar'd. and that's why i don't format the card, because it's from the pocketpc and i need the stuff that's on it on pretty much a daily basis.
anyway, thanks for commenting :)
Desi imi perturba un pic imaginea dungile din spate, imi place ca si tonare si ca si ipostaza. Imi da o senzatie de fiml vechi...

yeah - no prob... i troubleshoot computers as well as constantly thinking about ways of fixing creating art. I'm used to the constant brainstorming, i just figured i'd throw it out there for ya just in-case any of it would help or give you another idea.
So i looked up shipping just to see exactly how expensive it would be. It is almost $28.00 to ship it, thats with insurance - you better believe sending something that far i'd make sure to put insurance on it. So i guess if you ever see something you just HAVE to have. At least you know it will be 30 extra bucks to send it your way.
